An additional benefit of Edgewise is that it features a ground extraction tool that effectively removes vegetation, building and other structures with positive relief. This ground model can be exported as a deliverable in its own right as .xyz or TIN.

New EdgeWise™ Training Video Available

ClearEdge3D has published a new training video showing best-practice workflows using EdgeWise™ together with SketchUp.  The video gives many useful tips and demonstrates how to efficiently model the building shown in Figure 2 from the original point cloud in about 30 minutes.
